The basic transmission is the smart and cost-effective repair option for older vehicles in particular. The reason for this is the reuse of intact gearshift system parts and detachable parts. This reduces not only the cost but also your truck's non-operational time.

We ensure excellent reliability and longevity, because wear parts and small parts (e.g. shift pistons and tapered roller bearings, countershaft brake ribs and sealing elements) are replaced with Mercedes‑Benz GenuineParts.

The Mercedes‑Benz Genuine Remanufactured basic transmission consists of the transmission without external gear components.

The basic transmission is available for the following vehicle types:

• Actros MP I-III
• Axor
• 12- and 16-speed transmissions (not G100-12)

Functional reliability is enabled by means of test stand operations under load and simulation of various driving situations. The bolted flange joint is tightened and documented in accordance with series production standards. Wear parts, such as shift pistons, tapered roller bearings and seals, are replaced.

During our remanufacturing process, all parts are carefully cleaned and inspected. Thorough cleaning of all housing parts and an additional rinse ensure that foreign objects do not settle in hard-to-reach places.
