A Reman Plus genuine remanufactured engine is good for the environment and your wallet.

If you need a replacement and price is a factor in addition to sustainability and schedule concerns, then a Reman Plus engine is the practical alternative, because the price depends on the amount of damage and the delivery time that suits you best.

The usual Mercedes‑Benz high level of quality is maintained at all times. Worn and damaged parts are replaced with new parts and the remanufacturing process  incorporates technological and quality-related enhancements from the latest series production methods. Unless you choose the "Individual" option, the engine is completely disassembled, remanufactured and inspected at the Mercedes‑Benz plant with the same care and subject to the same strict quality standards as the equivalent new engine.

The Reman Plus options available for your engine.

Reman Plus is the damaged based pricing offer for genuine remanufactured engine and is worthwhile for older vehicles in particular. There are three options to choose from, which vary in cost and delivery times depending on customer requirements:

  • "Individual": affordable option involving the customer’s actual engine receiving custom repairs at the manufacturer plant and then being returned. Typically has the longest lead time.
  • "Standard": includes advance delivery of an already remanufactured engine assembled specifically for your vehicle. Delivery time: 6–10 working days (depending on country).
  • "Express": includes advance delivery of an already remanufactured engine within 1–2 days.
